  43. Begin: Uninstallation Instructions for Windows 3.1x

  45. First, single click on the EZ-Forms Lightning-Bolt Icon. Then 
  46. press Alt-Enter. Note the name for the Working Directory.
  47. It will look something like:
  48.                             C:\EZFXL
  49. Please write this down, as we will need it below.

  51. Next, launch File Manager from Windows' MAIN Group.
  52.  
  53. Navigate to the above directory.
  54.  
  55. NOTE: Before you do anything else, make sure you move any files 
  56. you wish to keep to another directory or a floppy disk.
  57.  
  58. Delete all the files in this directory and all below it.
  59.  
  60. Return to the EZ-Forms XL program group and minimize it by 
  61. clicking on the down arrow in the upper right hand corner of 
  62. the group.

  64. Then click on the minimized group. Hit the Esc key, then the 
  65. Delete key. Confirm your actions as appropriate.

  67. Note: There are rare instances when this program uses file 
  68. extensions exactly like other programs you may have previously 
  69. installed. If the previous programs do not respond properly, 
  70. you may have to re-install them and/or re-initiate File to 
  71. program Association from within File Manager. See Windows' help 
  72. system for information on associations.

  83. Launch Explorer.... Start - Explorer.
  84.  
  85. Navigate to the Start Menu Folder which should be directly below the Windows
  86. Folder/Directory. Double-click the Start Menu folder to reveal the Programs
  87. group. Double-click the Programs folder to reveal a listing of installed
  88. programs. Click over the program folder that begins with the name EZ-Forms.
  89. On the right side of the Explorer window you will find the Shortcut(s)
  90. relating to the program you wish to uninstall.

  92. Find the Shortcut with the Lightning-Bolt Icon labeled EZ-FORMS... and
  93. right-click on it, then select Properties. In the Properties dialog box
  94. selct the tab labeled Shortcut or details. Note the name of the working
  95. directory. It will look something like:
  96.             C:\EZF...
  97. Please write this down, as we will need it below.

  99. Navigate to the above directory/folder.

  101. NOTE: Before you do anything else, make sure you move any files 
  102. you wish to keep to another directory or a floppy disk.

  104. Delete all the files/shortcuts in this directory/folder (listed on
  105. the right) and all below it. This will usually happen automatically
  106. if you delete the EZ-Forms... folder in the Programs Folder.

  108. If necessary, go back to the Start Directory and/or Programs folders. 
  109. Delete all Shortcuts relating to this program.
  110. Go back to Start-Programs, etc. to see a list of them.

  112. Note: There are rare instances when this program uses file

  119. FOR THE EXPERT USERS ONLY:
  120. Start-Run REGEDIT.EXE. Right click on and delete the entries for
  121. .fof, .fom, .frm, and EZFFileType. This will remove same for Window's
  122. registry. Be careful, as it might also eliminate associations to 
  123. other programs you may be running.
